Imagine a future where life is more socially connected, more meaningful and satisfying, more sustainable, and more equitable than what we are experiencing today. What would it be like? How would we make it happen?
Trade locally, eat locally, produce locally - and encourage businesses to adopt sustainable practices. These are some of the indicators of a self-reliant community. But how do we get there?
Peak oil and climate change are two of many reasons why our current reliance on the automobile needs to change. What would a community less dependent on cars look like? How would we get there?

If you have a thought or idea that could move the community forward toward resiliency and self-reliance, put it out there....and then begin it!
